What surgical services do you provide for your patients?

Our team of veterinarians (with the assistance of our experienced registered veterinary technicians) perform the following procedures in our facility:

  • Spaying
  • Neutering
  • Orthopedic Procedures (cruciate repair, fracture repair, etc.)
  • General Soft Tissue (mass excisions, cystotomy, etc.)
  • Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring

Is general anesthesia safe for pets?

Like with any medication, there are certain risks associated with anesthesia. Prior to administering the drug, we conduct blood tests on all our patients to ensure they are good candidates for anesthesia, as well as the dosing they would require. (Larger pets typically need a larger dose of anesthesia.) Then, during the surgery, we use a wide variety of advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment and consider every pet-patient’s pain control needs in order to maximize safety and comfort. Your pet’s breathing, blood pressure and other vitals are closely monitored by our team throughout their surgery.
