Are you experiencing unwanted behavior issues with your pet? Dr. Colleen Wilson is the only veterinarian in Eastern Ontario to have completed the residency program with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists.

During your consultation, Dr. Wilson will provide you with the most current and up to date scientific information and techniques proven effective to improve your pet’s behavioural issues.

Occasionally a behavioural issue includes a medical condition. As a veterinarian, Dr. Wilson has the expertise to make this differentiation.

Caring for your pet's teeth is an important part of their overall health and wellness.

What can YOU do?

  • Brush your pet's teeth daily
  • Consider dental diets
  • Try water additives (for example, Health Mouth)
  • DO NOT USE hard chew toys as they often fracture teeth

What can WE do?

Annual Health Exams allow our vets to perform an oral exam to assess the mouth for:

  • early signs of periodontal disease
  • broken teeth
  • proper alignment of the teeth or "bite"
  • find persistent deciduous (baby) teeth
  • oral tumours

Annual Dental Exams and Cleanings are performed under general anesthesia. This process allows us to:

  • further assess for the above problems
  • properly clean or scale teeth
  • perform dental xrays (the most valuable tool we use to fully assess the health of each tooth above and below the gum line)

We are surprised at how often we find hidden painful problems during our annual Dental Exams!
